Sinopsis del Libro

Con la llegada de una nueva clase dirigente, a comienzos de la década de los 80, se inicia un nuevo canon literario hoy hegemónico donde, por influencia de la filosofía neoliberal mercantilista, se construye un nuevo sujeto textual caracterizado por reivindicar su componente individualista.Este libro intenta dirimir, en ese espacio histórico, algunas de las cuestiones fundamentales de la autobiografía literaria como son la construcción del sujeto tras la modernidad, los modos de su autorrepresentación textual, la fijación de la identidad, así como el uso de un realismo con intención que va más allá de su mera literalidad. El autor hace un amplio pero selectivo repaso a la narrativa y a la lírica surgidas en nuestro país durante las dos últimas décadas, que permite al lector componer una panorámica del proceso literario y diferenciar entre el individualismo que cultivan ciertos escritores y las reivindicaciones de un nuevo sujeto instalado de pleno en un mundo globalizado.
