Sinopsis del Libro

Tras nacer en Bruselas y pasar por Barcelona, Cortázar regresó con sus padres a Argentina y comenzó a escribir poesía y relatos ejerciendo como profesor en distintos lugares, entre ellos en la Patagonia. De vuelta a Europa, en concreto en París y tras conocer a Borges, empezó su frenética actividad como escritor y traductor que no cesó hasta su prematura muerte en 1984. Una biografía/ensayo de uno de los escritores más influyentes en lengua castellana del siglo XX. El autor combina a la perfección la vida de Cortázar, con innumerables detalles desconocidos hasta ahora, con un conocimiento exhaustivo de la evolución de la obra. Con un lenguaje divulgativo y muy ameno, el lector descubre a la persona y al escritor de una manera precisa y sorprendente.
