Sinopsis del Libro

Un elefante llega a una isla de monos. Éstos se alarman, pues, por desconocido, lo juzgan de peligroso, El elefante intenta establecer amables relaciones, pero el miedo hace que los monos le reciban con muy malos modos. Finalmente, un accidente convierte en héroe a nuestro protagonista y los monos reconocen su error. Sólo entonces le preguntan quién es. Y es que el desconocimiento lleva a juzgar mal a los demás, sobre todo si sólo se tienen en cuenta las apariencias. El argumento fundamental del libro está tratado con mucho humor para suavizar con acierto la dureza de un tema como es sentirnos no aceptados por quienes nos rodean. La ilustración, muy infantil, acompaña en todo momento el tono del texto, consiguiendo unos personajes fáciles de identificar para los pequeños.
