Oscar se nos presenta como un joven modesto y sencillo que hace honor a sus raíces culturales; por lo que prefirió nacionalizarse mexicano, respetando su vínculo familiar con ese país. Aparece como un destacado pugilista. Y se mencionan varios de sus premios en eventos de la disciplina, incluida su destacadísima participación en los Juegos Olímpicos de Barcelona, en 1992. Esta historia aborda también el lado más humano e íntimo del reconocido atleta.
