Sinopsis del Libro

José María de Mena, cordobés de nacimiento, es Doctor en Filosofía y Letras, especializado en Historia, Licenciado en Ciencias de la Información y Diplomado en Teología. Desde 1946 ha desarrollado su intensa labor docente (en Sevilla y Bogotá), su labor periodística de divulgación de temas históricos (en ABC, Diario Madrid, Diario Da Manha de Lisboa y El Siglo de Bogotá) y su inmensa tarea editorial de divulgación de temas históricos de las ciudades de Sevilla, Córdoba, Barcelona, Madrid y de la historia de España a través de de treinta y ocho libros sobre asuntos de interés histórico general y de historia del arte. Es Catedrático Numerario y elegido Académico correspondiente de la Real Academia de la Historia, de la de Bellas Artes de San Fernando y miembro de varias instituciones relacionadas con el mundo de la historia en España y Hispanoamérica.
