La presente obra se centra en 1980, el año en el que el terrorismo acabó con más vidas (hasta 2004, con la masacre del 11-M). El Centro Memorial de las Víctimas del Terrorismo decidió impulsar un proyecto de investigación sobre la violencia política y sus víctimas durante la Transición. Ahora bien, en vez de analizar toda esa fase, se eligió una perspectiva original, que creímos más productiva: una cata.
