Madrid ayer y hoy propone una forma visual de acercarse a la historia de nuestra ciudad, a todos esos cambios que se producen día a día en su fisonomía. Mostrando una fotografía antigua y una actual, nos invita a la comparación evocando esas calles, monumentos y plazas tal como se presentaban en el pasado y su apariencia actual. La composición, debido a su complejidad, suele ser la tarea pendiente de toda persona que se inicia en la fotografía, incluso de aquellas que tienen cierta experiencia. Por ello, decidí escribir un libro diferente, sobre todo muy visual, en el que se hablara de la composición de una forma más práctica, con menos tecnicismos y con un lenguaje coloquial, haciendo hincapié en conceptos a los que normalmente no se les da tanta importancia.
