Podría decir que MUGRE es una recopilación de fotografías tomadas en las calles de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires que por necesidad o impulso capturaba durante mis paseos. Imágenes que se ordenaron, juntaron e imprimieron en conjunto pero eso sería simplificar demasiado lo que está obra significa para mí. Toda la soledad, desesperanza y caos que experimente durante un periodo de mi vida mientras atravesaba diferentes duelos están dentro de estas páginas al igual que mis dolores y heridas.

Desde la perspectiva de la antropología social, y mediante el estudio de la obra de una selección de artistas actuales, la publicación analiza las imágenes del hombre y la mujer generadas en Andalucía durante las tres últimas décadas a través de la pintura, el vídeo y el arte de acción. Partiendo de una retrospectiva del arte plástico y visual andaluz desde el inicio del siglo XX hasta los años ochenta, este trabajo estimula la reflexión sobre qué expresiones de la masculinidad o la feminidad se transmiten actualmente a través del arte.
