La ciudad de Jerusalén resulta todo un símbolo cargado de connotaciones. Para un creyente o un miembro de cualquiera de las tres grandes religiones monoteístas, el relieve que adquiere la vieja ciudad es notable, pues Jerusalén es la Ciudad Santa por excelencia. El presente libro pretende acercarnos a Jerusalén y hacernos pisar sus umbrales, siguiendo paso a paso su antigua historia. Además, la obra presenta un amplio apéndice que resume los acontecimientos que han tenido lugar en Jerusalén desde la conquista del califa Omar en el 638 hasta nuestros días.

Este libro es mucho más que un relato sobre la historia de Cherín, es sin duda uno de los testimonios de nuestro pueblo y de sus antepasados. La obra está basada en las aportaciones e investigaciones de sus autores. Un trabajo realizado durante meses para que este libro pueda salir a la luz.
