Analiza, en un solo volúmen, su nacimiento como comisión económica de la Corte de Cervera para admin istrar los donativos concedidos al rey, y va siguiendo su evolución, que culmina rá en su constitución como institución independiente con amplios poderes, su sup resión en 1714, su restauración durante la Segunda República, las vicisitudes de rivadas de la derrota de 1939 y la época actual.
