La historia de Robinson Crusoe se ha contado muchas veces pero nunca desde el punto de vista de los animales que viven en la isla. Los animales se van cediendo la palabra, desde Yaguatirica, el gato montés, que es quien encuentra a Robinson, a la tortuga que le enseña a comer sabrosos gusanos.
