El cristianismo es Cristo Jesucristo es la piedra angular de la fe cristiana. Pero existen en nuestro tiempo varios intentos de tergiversar la cristología bíblica a favor de algún sistema teológico o de alguna ideología en el plano social. Por esta y otras razones es imperativo estudiar y proclamar lo que las Escrituras revelan respecto a Jesucristo. De ello se ocupa el doctor Evis Carballosa en el presente libro, cuyo objetivo principal es subrayar la deidad del Señor Jesús. El autor inicia su exposición con un esbozo histórico de las grandes controversias cristológicas que han tenido lugar a través de los siglos; y, a continuación, presenta el testimonio bíblico en cuanto a la deidad de Cristo, cuya doctrina sigue siendo uno de los pilares fundamentales de la iglesia cristiana. Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of the Christian faith. But there are several attempts to misrepresent Biblical Christology in favor of some theological system or some social ideology. For this and other reasons it is imperative to study and proclaim what the Scriptures reveal about Jesus Christ. Dr. Evis Carballosa deals with this in this book, whose main objective is to emphasize the deity of the Lord Jesus. The author begins his presentation with a historical outline of the great christological controversies that have taken place over the centuries; and, next, he presents the biblical testimony regarding the deity of Christ, whose doctrine continues to be one of the fundamental pillars of the Christian church.
