Libro Los indios en Cali

El objetivo de esta investigación es identificar y analizar los diversos procesos sociales, económicos y políticos de los indígenas en Cali en el siglo XVIII, como un ejemplo de uno de los resultados de los procesos de negociación, adaptación y resistencia entre los sectores populares y las élites. Se tienen en cuenta los aspectos físicos y espaciales de los pueblos de indios, su demografía, el pago de tributos, las autoridades y las relaciones con otros estamentos de la sociedad. Se consultaron archivos de Cali, Popayán, Bogotá y Quito para la elaboración esta investigación.
