Sinopsis del Libro

Lyon, Francia, noviembre de 1886. Emilia descubre en la habitación de su nueva casa las cartas escritas por una niña de su edad en época de la Revolución Francesa. La protagonista de las cartas, Carlota, se ha infiltrado en el comité revolucionario con la esperanza de salvar la vida de algunos sacerdotes, mientras que su hermana Isabel ha puesto rumbo a Inglaterra. A pesar del siglo que las separa, Emilia va descubriendo en las cartas un cierto paralelismo entre su vida y la de Carlota. Con ayuda de su amiga Constanza, Emilia se lanza a una verdadera investigación sobre Carlota que la conducirá al descubrimiento de la fe, la amistad y el amor.
